MCRA "E-Bullet"

4 October 2024

Presidents Paragraph

Hello  name, It is always a pleasure to connect with you. As we navigate a complex global landscape, it is essential to remember the principles upon which our nation was founded.

When we raised our right hands to take the oath of enlistment, we swore allegiance to the Constitution, not to a political party or individual. It is our duty as citizens to actively participate in our democracy, both through service and voting.

The Marine Corps Reserve continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to our nation. The recent deployment of Marines from 4th Law Enforcement Battalion is a testament to their dedication and professionalism.

I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the Commandant's new guidance on the strategic shift to the Pacific. This shift reflects the evolving global security environment and underscores the importance of our continued presence in the region.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by Hurricane Helene. The Nation is united in its efforts to provide relief and support to those in need. If you know any Marine impacted by the hurricane, let The Association know. We do have access to funds and additional resources we are more than willing to utilize to support Marines in need. Send an email to info@usmcra.org.

Finally, I would like to highlight the leadership opportunities available within the Association. Your involvement can make a significant impact on serving the Marine Corps Reserve community.

Thank you for your continued membership and support. Your dedication is invaluable.

Semper Fi,
Paul K. Hopper
National President/CEO
