VA COVID CORRECTION - REGIONS 1, 2, 3

On September 20, 2023, the Integrated Veteran Care (IVC) team learned that some Veterans within Regions 1, 2 and 3 (Optum) were turned away from receiving the new COVID vaccine at CVS/Caremark retail locations. Working with Optum, VHA confirmed that 2,174 Veterans were impacted within Regions 1, 2, and 3. Veterans within Regions 4 and 5 (TriWest) were not impacted.

VA awards more than $63 million in grants to state Veterans cemeteries

WASHINGTON — This month, VA’s National Cemetery Administration awarded $63.6 million in grants to Arizona, Arkansas, Nebraska, New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Virginia for the establishment, expansion, and improvement of state Veterans cemeteries. These grants will help these states deliver timely and accessible burial and memorial services to Veterans.
